Any vocals that are slightly out of tune can be made pitch perfect through the use of software. I am an expert at making very natural sounding tuning adjustments to really polish and perfect the sound of the singers voice.
A tight groove and rhythmic accuracy between players is the number one factor that plays into a great mix. The foundation of this is the feel and timing of the drum kit. If your drum tracks were recorded using a metronome and are feeling a little sloppy, I can edit them into being exactly time aligned with the tempo of the song. Once that is done I can make any necessary timing adjustments to other instruments so that everything feels very tight and professional. This will undoubtedly make everything hit a little harder and it will feel better to the listener, therefore enhancing the emotion of the song and the delivery of the message -- which is what mixing is really all about.

Mastering is the final stage in the production process before duplication or digital release. Mastering is basically a quality control process in regards to the overall equalization (EQ) and loudness or volume of a song or album. The mastering engineer's job is to process the final mixes so that all songs sound even with each other within a given project. This will ensure that there are no apparent volume differences between songs and the project will sound unified and professional.
In addition, Mastering is also the process which will make your songs as loud as a record you would buy in a store or hear on the radio.
I have relationships with a number of different mastering engineers. Mastering can widely vary in price point and all of the engineers who are affiliated with this site are within the $100 / song range. If you choose to have your songs mastered through this website, I will choose the best mastering engineer for your specific style of music and send the files to him once you have approved my final mixes. If you have your own mastering engineer, you are more than welcome to use him. I am also more than happy to refer you directly to any of my mastering contacts. I offer mastering through this site only as a convenience, not to make a profit. I believe all songs should be mastered before they are released. Virtually all of the albums released within the last 25 years have been mastered.

Here's how it works. You record your music (hopefully at a professional studio), make sure that the arrangements are great and the takes are clean, do any edits or clean up, then export each individual audio track and send me a thumb drive or zip and upload the files. I will mix your songs and send you back a reference. You listen and decide if you want any revisions to the mix. If so, just shoot me an email or phone call and we'll discuss the changes. Then I'll update the mix and send another reference. Once you are satisfied with the mix, I'll upload the final mix to a mastering house of your choice. They will master your songs and send you back a duplication master or upload digital masters. That's it, you get world class, radio ready mixes over the web at a fraction of the price you would pay one of the "big time, platinum" mixing guys.
